Why pet lovers choose a painted portrait
A portrait that shows character
A good pet portrait captures gaze, pose, character. A printed photo never can. Our artists know animal anatomy and bring out details like fur texture and eye expression.
Memorial of a loyal companion
When a beloved dog, cat or horse is gone, a painted portrait helps remember. We work with particular sensitivity from memorial photos — old or blurry images are no problem.
Approval photo before drying
Pose, background, style — before drying we send you a photo of the finished pet portrait. Corrections are then still free.
Pet portrait examples
Real commissions: dog classical, cat life-size, horse with rider. Every work hand-painted in oil on cotton canvas.
Which animals do we paint?
From family dog to sanctuary horse — we paint every animal you have a story with.
Dogs of all breeds
Labrador, shepherd, dachshund, mongrel, puppy or old companion. Every breed, every fur texture. Most requested: realistic classical dog portrait.
Cats
Domestic cat, Maine Coon, Persian. Cat portraits are particularly challenging due to eye details — we work from high-resolution photos.
Horses
Riding horse, western horse, racehorse, pony. With or without rider. Horse portraits often in large format for stable or living room.
Multiple animals
Two dogs, three cats, dog + cat, animal with person. We compose multi-animal portraits from single photos if you don't have a group shot.
Deceased pets
Memorial portraits for beloved pets that are no longer with us. Possible from old photos. More in our memorial portrait article.
Birds, reptiles, exotic animals
Parrot, budgie, snake, turtle. On request. Please send multiple sharp photos — we discuss feasibility before order.
