1. Scope of application

This privacy policy applies to artminded.ch.

2. Collection and use of information

When accessing artminded.ch, various non-personal data (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, name of the file accessed, etc.) are collected for statistical purposes. This data does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your person.

3. Cookies

We use so-called cookies in several places on our website. These serve to make our offer more effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Most of the cookies we use are so-called «session cookies». They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. You have the option of deactivating cookies in your browser, but this may prevent you from using certain functions of our website.

4. Personal data

The personal data required to process your order is collected and stored by us via our automated data processing system. We use your data exclusively for the professional processing of your order. Your data will only be passed on to third parties to the extent necessary for order processing. These third parties are obliged to treat the data confidentially.

artminded.ch saves the data transmitted by the customer for the purpose of processing complaints and for further analysis.

If you register for our newsletter, your e-mail address will be used for our own advertising purposes until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time.

5. Data security

We continuously protect all personal data stored by us with suitable technical and organizational measures against access, use and processing by unauthorized persons.

6. Tracking, Analytics and Marketing Tools

We use various analytics and marketing tools in order to improve our offering, optimise the user experience and make our advertising efficient. You can deactivate data collection at any time via our cookie banner (see the section «Your Choices» below).

Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

This website uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID: G-RWBSE6XQ7N), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA («Google»). Google Analytics 4 uses IDs (e.g. the client identifier _ga) and logs technical information (device type, browser, approximate location at city level, dwell time, pages viewed, clicks).

The data is processed on Google servers in the USA. Google is certified as a data processor under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The IP address is anonymised before storage (IP anonymisation is activated by default). Retention period for event data: 14 months.

For the purpose of improved conversion measurement, we transmit encrypted (SHA-256-hashed) e-mail addresses, telephone numbers and address data to Google when orders are placed («Enhanced Conversions»). This data is transmitted only in irreversibly hashed form and cannot be used to re-identify individuals.

Google Ads & Conversion Tracking

We use Google Ads (advertising network ID: AW-679582675) to place paid search ads. When an ad is clicked, Google stores a cookie on your device in order to be able to attribute conversion actions (e.g. purchases) to the respective campaign. We receive only aggregated statistics from Google — no data by which you could be personally identified.

Google BigQuery (Long-Term Data Export)

The event data collected in Google Analytics is exported daily to our Google Cloud account (project «artminded», region europe-west6 / Zurich). This enables us to carry out comprehensive, long-term analyses that are not possible in the standard Google Analytics interface. The data remains in the EU/Switzerland region and is not passed on to third parties.

Google Search Console & Google Merchant Center

Our property is linked to Google Search Console (for analysing search queries) and Google Merchant Center (product listings on Google Shopping). Through these links we receive reports on visibility, click-through rates and product performance. No personal data is processed in this context — only aggregated search query and product metrics.

Microsoft Clarity

This website uses Microsoft Clarity, a behavioural analytics tool provided by Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052, USA («Microsoft»). Clarity creates anonymised heatmaps and session recordings in order to understand how visitors interact with our website. Mouse movements, clicks, scrolling and keyboard input are recorded anonymously. Sensitive input fields (e.g. payment data, passwords) are automatically masked and not stored.

The data processing is carried out to improve website usability. Microsoft is a co-signatory of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Retention period: 30 days. Further information: Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Web Vitals (Core Web Vitals Measurement)

We anonymously measure the loading performance of your browser session (Largest Contentful Paint, Interaction to Next Paint, Cumulative Layout Shift). These metrics are transmitted to Google Analytics 4 and are used exclusively for technical optimisation. They contain no personal data.

Brevo (Newsletter and Transactional E-Mails)

For sending our newsletter and transactional e-mails (order confirmations, delivery information), we use Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, 7 rue de Madrid, 75008 Paris, France). The data transmitted for newsletter registration (e-mail address) is stored on Brevo servers within the EU. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the unsubscribe link in every e-mail. Privacy information: Brevo Privacy Policy.

Social Networks

On our website you will find links to our profiles on Facebook and Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, Dublin). No Meta tracking pixels or social plugins are used on our website — only ordinary hyperlinks. Only after clicking do you reach the external platform, where its privacy policies apply.

Your Choices (Cookie Banner / Consent Mode)

When you first visit our website, a cookie banner appears. You can deactivate data collection via the «Reject» button. We follow the Swiss Data Protection Act (revDSG) in the opt-out model — meaning: tracking is activated by default but can be deactivated at any time.

For visits from the EU/EEA, we use Google's «Consent Mode v2»: advertising and analytics signals are only sent after your consent. If you decline, only anonymous, cookieless pings are transmitted for conversion modelling.

You can additionally prevent data collection by Google Analytics by installing the browser plug-in for deactivating Google Analytics .

7. Legal basis

The legal basis of these provisions is the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revDSG, in force since 1 September 2023). For visits from the EU/EEA, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) additionally applies.

8. Delete, correct or block your data

You naturally have the right to have your data deleted, changed or blocked from our databases at any time. In addition, you can always request information about the data stored about you.
